AHS 2020 National Conference Update

In light of the current events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and with concern for the well being of the AHS membership, our sponsors, presenters, exhibitors, and conference attendees, the Board of Directors has unanimously decided to reschedule the 2020 National Conference to 2021. This decision was not an easy one to make, and we have given much thought to what would be best for the Harp Society and everyone involved with this wonderful event.

We are grateful for the leadership of the 2020 National Conference planning team; Conference Chair Cheryl Cunningham, Artistic & Programming Co-Chair Laura Sherman, Local Co-Chair Haley Rhodeside, and Barbara Browning, representing the Central Florida chapter of the AHS for their dedication to creating a memorable conference, now to be presented in 2021!

If you are suffering hardship due to COVID-19, please be sure to review the American Harp Society’s online list of emergency resources and support for musicians. Please share this page with any contemporaries who may benefit.

In these challenging times let us all take comfort in knowing that the power of our music can soothe, inspire, transform and comfort those in need. We wish the best to each of you, and to your families, and to harpists worldwide.

Sincerely,
Elaine Litster, Chairman of the BoardLynne Aspnes, President
